Who we are

What stays on your device

PIInneh does not have user accounts today. What you enter on the site stays in your own browser’s local storage, on your device, and is not sent to us:

• your watchlist, its theses, notes and the sealed journal of thesis changes;
• your decision journal, alert thresholds and the “prepared for” name on reports;
• the reports you have opened (kept so a report can show what changed since your last visit) and the calls recorded in them;
• the watchlists and alerts you set in the charting and correlation tools;
• your display choices, such as light or dark mode and the Investor or Analyst view.

We cannot see or recover this information. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

What we collect

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

If you email us, for example to request early access, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply to you and to manage early access, keep it only as long as we need it for that, and delete it sooner if you ask. It is stored by the email service that hosts our mailbox, which handles it for us and not for its own purposes. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.

The website is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure that PIInneh controls. If server access logs are switched on, they record your IP address, browser type and the pages requested; PIInneh uses them only to operate and secure the site and keeps them only as long as needed for that.

Services that load with the site

To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, and Company Research, Biotech Company Research and the index page also load a code library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). These providers receive your IP address and browser details when the files load, under their own privacy policies: Google and Cloudflare.

The research assistant (AI)

The research assistant is switched off. If it is switched on, the questions you ask, your recent conversation with it and the watchlist in the charting tool would be sent to PIInneh’s AI service to answer them. Before that happens, this policy will name the service, where it runs, what it keeps and for how long.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the information stored in your browser at any time. For information you have emailed us, you can ask us to access, correct or delete it by writing to the address above. Depending on where you live, data-protection law may give you further rights. We respond to a request within 45 days of receiving it. If we need longer, we will tell you within those 45 days, and we may take up to 45 more. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you can appeal by replying to our decision. We respond to an appeal within 45 days of receiving it and explain the outcome; if we still decline, you can contact the data-protection authority or attorney general where you live. We may need to confirm that a request comes from you, usually by replying to the email address the information belongs to.

Children

The site is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

If PIInneh adds accounts, live data services, analytics or the research assistant, this policy will be updated before those features start, and the effective date above will change. Before any material change takes effect, we will post a notice on this website at least 30 days in advance. Earlier versions of this policy are available on request.
